Dear Parents,
We want to inform you that the school will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4th.
However, please be prepared for rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. We recommend dressing your child appropriately with proper footwear, gloves, and hats, and giving yourself extra time to get to school.
Please be cautious of pooling water and potential ice on the streets, sidewalks, and in our parking lot. Mr. Ferdie and Mr. Jose already have cleared and salted the lot, but due to freezing temperatures, there are still some icy areas, especially on the STMC side. We will salt again tomorrow morning, but we encourage everyone to walk carefully and with caution. Please remind your child to walk, not run, and to be mindful of the icy conditions.
While we strive to make the best decisions with the information available, we recognize that weather conditions can change quickly. As such, the decision to attend school or remain home during inclement weather is ultimately up to each family. Please assess the conditions in your area and make the best choice for your safety.
