Grade Two is a very exciting year academically and spiritually. Students grow in their faith as they prepare to receive the blessed Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Using Christ’s teachings, we strive to create a classroom community where kindness, empathy, and respect are integral to the learning experience.
In Grade Two, students become fluent readers through small group instructions and direct teaching, as well as, choosing books of their interest. As writers, they learn to communicate their thoughts weekly journal entries and by practicing a variety of writing styles.
In collaboration with parents and guardians, we create a supportive partnership that nurtures both the academic and spiritual growth of your child. Together, we aim to instill a sense of responsibility, compassion, and strong morals, preparing our Grade Two students to navigate the world with confidence and faith.
