Premier David Eby has declared today, Friday, May 2, 2025, an official day of remembrance and mourning for the victims of the Lapu Lapu tragedy, providing the people of British Columbia an opportunity to come together, grieve the loss of innocent lives and recognize the contributions the victims made to their communities and the province. An online book of condolences for the victims’ families is available for signing until the end of day on Monday, May 5.
