Sing me a Song 2018
The OLM music program wrote, composed, directed and produced the winning performance for the Sing me a Song competition. Although, the performance was presented by students from grade 5-7, the performance earned the Winners of the Under 18 age group, with the song “My home”, by Ms. Laura Luongo and Ms. Anna Boots.
St. Thomas More Collegiate partnership programs
St. Thomas More Collegiate hosts annual school choir and band programs offered to students from grades 5-7.
Elementary School Choir
The choir provides students who are members of the OLM School Choir the ability to receive instruction from STMC’s incredibly talented choir director who puts on beautiful and engaging performances. STMC Elementary School Choir students will also interact with senior members of the STMC’s Chamber Choir program to provide confidence, guidance and support.
Elementary Band Program
This program provides students from grades 5-7 to share in the learning and experiences of STMC’s band director. Students will be assigned an instrument based on preferences and will learn how to play, read sheet music, and methods in a fun, supportive, exploratory environment. https://sites.google.com/stmc.bc.ca/elementary-band
