Dear Parents,
Please see the attached document outlining important health guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Child Care and the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). These guidelines help ensure that our school community remains healthy and safe for all students and staff.
We kindly ask that you review the information carefully, particularly the guidelines regarding when children should remain at home if they are unwell.
For example, if your child has a fever on Wednesday, they should remain home on Thursday and may return to school on Friday if they are feeling well. Students must be FEVER-FREE for at least 24 hours before returning to school, without the use of fever-reducing medication.
As a reminder, all student absences must be reported to the school office and include the student’s full name, grade, and reason for the absence. If your child is absent due to illness for more than one day, please ensure that the school office is notified for each day of absence so that our attendance records remain accurate.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support in helping us maintain a healthy school environment.
