Newsletter – 2022 Sep 1

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer. We also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. It is with pleasure that we welcome the students and families of the Our Lady of Mercy School community to the 2022-2023 school year. We are so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. Our staff is committed to ensuring an outstanding learning experience for all our students as we support their whole development. All signs point to an incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). We are dedicated to the success of each child.

As we work together during the year, I encourage you to let me know how you and your child/children are experiencing school. Through open communication, teamwork and a dedication to continuous improvement, we promise this to be a rewarding and enjoyable school year for the children.

Tuesday, September 13   Picture Day Full Uniform Required
Friday, September 16      Professional Day School & Office Closed
Friday, September 30      National Day for Truth & Reconciliation School & Office Closed

Special Notes:

1. Our website has the full calendar for the 2022-2023 school year. We will continue to update it as we know more information such as volleyball practices and game schedules. The website also contains valuable information such as our school newsletters and notices. We are working on getting an OLM App for your convenience. However, in the meantime please use our website.

2. Summer uniform (gym shorts, gym or walkathon shirt) until Thursday, September 29th

3. The school updated Safety Plan (re: covid) will be sent first week of school

4. Meet the Teacher – information will be sent first week of school

5. Kindergarten Morning and Afternoon Classes start Wednesday, September 7th

6. Information regarding volleyball will be sent in the beginning of September
