Students will be participating in our annual Art Day!
This year’s celebration is inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The story follows a young girl named Vashti as she discovers her artistic talent and gains self-confidence through a simple yet powerful act of encouragement from her teacher.
To celebrate creativity, students are invited to come dressed as an artist. Outfit ideas include berets, aprons, overalls, oversized shirts, or paint-splattered clothing such as decorated shirts and hats. Students may also choose to wear polka dots to celebrate their artistic expression and confidence in themselves.
