What Do I Do When My Child Is Sick Or Away?

If your child is absent from school, please phone the school before 8:45 a.m. When your child returns to school please send a note explaining his or her absence. We are required from the Ministry of Education to have a note from the parent to explain absences. We are audited and checked every year. For funding purposes, this is one way the government is building in accountability.

Father Nicolas Request to Students and Parents to Attend Morning Mass

Father Nicolas has requested that we continue this year with each grade being responsible for doing the readings and altar serving for morning masses. He asked that there be a minimum of five students in attendance each morning mass which starts at 8:00 a.m. Father Nicolas feels passionately that the students need to be encouraged and supported by the parents to be connected and experience the beauty of mass. This is one of the main reasons why students are not permitted into the classrooms on rainy days until 8:30 a.m. The grade teacher will assist parents by asking for volunteers and encouraging different students to attend.

The following is the schedule:

Tuesday Grade 6

Wednesday Grade 5

Thursday Grade 4 and Grade 7

Although a grade has been assigned to a specific day all parents and students are welcome!
